Instrumental Section This is the fastest growing section within the Festival with opportunities for every kind of instrumentalist including harpists, acoustic guitarists and classical recorder players, as well as strings, woodwind and brass of all descriptions. Every level from beginner to accomplished performer is catered for. There are recital classes, which provide the opportunity to give a 15 minute performance of 3 contrasting pieces, and both concerto and sonata classes as well as those in which lighter music can be played. If you have any particular requirement which does not seem to be catered for, please get in touch and we will see how we can best accommodate you. In addition to the solo classes, there are opportunities for chamber ensembles and orchestras, with a special category of Family Music Making. All instrumental classes will be held in the United Reformed Church, Muswell Hill, except the Harp classes, which will be at North Bank House, Pages Lane N10 and the Orchestras & Ensembles classes at St James's, Muswell Hill. |
