Dance Section

Dance is now a thriving part of the Festival. There are classes for everyone from 'Babies' (under 6 years) to 'Seniors' (13 to 21 years), and Ballet, Tap, Modern, Character & National and Song & Dance are covered. Solos, duets, trios and groups are welcomed and costumes and simple props can be used. A tape operator will be provided to supply the music, and changing rooms are available.

As space is strictly limited, we can only accept entries from recognised dance schools. All entries are subject to the approval of the organisers, who are not required to give any reasons for refusal. Classes will take place on 3, 4 and 5 April 2009 and the closing date for entries is 27 February 2009. Early application is advised to avoid disappointment.

Dance classes will be held in The Bull Theatre , 68 High Street, Barnet.

Prizes and Certificates

There are gold, silver and bronze medals to be won, and every competitor will receive a written adjudication sheet.
